Dear Resident, 

We are encouraging the public to have their say, at an event at Lisa's Tea room, 14 Derwent Street, Blackhill, DH88LU on 21/03/26 at 1300hrs. This community meeting gives you the opportunity to raise any concerns and to find out what we are doing to tackle the issues that matter to you.

Everyone is welcome and it would be great to see you there. 

Weekly Update 28th February - 7th March:

There were no incidents of relevance for the community to be made aware of during this time period.

Weekly Update 7th February - 14th March:

On Thursday 12th March police received a call about a suspicious male taking pictures of the callers child at the band stand in Consett Park. Unfortunately the call was received 2hrs after the incident so there was no trace of the male in the park. Caller has been spoken to to narrow down an accurate time frame and CCTV enquires are on going. If anyone has sighted anything or has any information in regards to the incident or where the bike is coming from, please contact Durham Police on 101 and quote incident no. DHM-12032026-0454.
